Atenea was the first Colombian brand to be in charge of makeup for Colombiamoda 2024: More than 70 styles and 25 stage shows provided the ideal showroom to discuss our products and trends.

Colombiamoda is one of the most important fashion events in Latin America and has become an important showcase of trends for consumers throughout the region.

With the help of Inexmoda and information from the Fashion Snoops platform, we refined the most notable trends we're projecting for the F/W 2024 and S/S 2025 seasons. Our backstage director, Paula Restrepo, was tasked with redefining the trends and applying them to each runway show based on the designers' and fashion producers' proposals.

A team of nearly 45 people was responsible for creating the striking looks at Colombian Fashion Week.

To achieve this, we carefully select products for skin, cheeks, eyebrows, eyes, and lips, all with excellent hold and pigmentation, worthy of the country's most prestigious catwalks.

Discover the trends that took center stage at Colombiamoda 2024:

DOPAMINE DAZE:

A nostalgic beauty that delights the senses and connects the intense colors of digital aesthetics with the real world. We see gradient-effect shadows in shades that reflect joy . To follow this trend, replace black eyeliner with iridescent eyeliner, or use liquid shadows loaded with shine and color.

BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE:

A trend inspired by alchemy and the most mysterious facet of spirituality. We find striking eyes, shadows, and eyeliners that define expression. It invites us to return to the beginning of everything, to nature and our own instinct.

Apres-ski:

This trend connects with the luxurious imagery that has gone viral on TikTok in the last year, such as "old money," as it's inspired by the lifestyle of European ski resorts. In these winter paradises, the icy cold transforms into a luminous effect on the skin, surrounding the eyes, to evoke intense freshness, along with glossy, natural lips.

GRANNY CHIC

A romantic trend inspired by the art of creating with your hands in crafts and crochet. It recreates the beauty of yesteryear in a modern version: red and wine-colored lips, softened blush on the center of the cheekbones, and hydrated skin— the key to maintaining beauty as timeless as those photographs.

SPRING/SUMMER 2025 TRENDS

DARK NATURE

A fusion of fantasy and gothic aesthetics. Inspired by nature and the wild. We see defined lips, lined with dark tones in contrast to light, glossy, and juicy finishes. Also featured are slanted eyes, with an intriguing expression and graphic eyeliner that invites risk-taking.

INNER GODDESS

Another trend born from viral aesthetics on TikTok, such as "quiet luxury," allows for a sense of luxury and elegance accessible to anyone through makeup. Inspired by ancient rituals, it invites you to feel like a goddess through a glow created with iridescent eyeliner, lipstick with the same effect, and highlighters on the cheekbones and nose. A key trick: a little highlighter on the lip area makes them stand out to the max.

FRUIT PUNCH

Experiment, dare, and embrace creativity to interpret beauty through the senses. Vibrant hues on eyelids and luscious lips, expressive lashes, and bold blushes that reflect health and energy.

DESERT DANCER

Festivals, sunsets, and freedom are the key words that define an aesthetic inspired by the sun, its radiance, and energy. The sensation of warmth is expressed in pronounced blushes from the top of the cheekbone toward the center of the face, playing with different, blended tones. The skin has a glow that emphasizes that feeling of beauty under the desert sun.

What was your favorite trend?

The product most used on the different runways was the Tinted Serum, as it has light coverage and a luminous finish.
